Bernard Gallacher 

Bernard Gallacher is a professional golfer who played on the European Tour -winning 13 tournaments. He is most famous for his Ryder Cup exploits – 8 times as a player (he was the youngest ever when picked in 1969 at the age of 20) and 3 times as the European Team Captain (winning one match and narrowly losing 2 matches).

He moved on to the European Senior Tour – winning The Mobile Cup in 2002. Bernard also became a renowned golf commentator for the BBC – most notably at the “Miracle in Medinah” or the “Do It For Seve!” Ryder Cup win in 2012. Bernard is an accomplished After Dinner speaker and resides on the famous Wentworth course near London, still playing when Mrs. Gallacher lets him!
